The 32-year-old Castillo has been capped 81 times for Ecuador, but he will play no part in Brazil after injuring his knee in a friendly against Mexico on May 31. Minda made his international debut for Ecuador in 2008 and was a member of the 2011 Copa America side. The Chivas USA midfielder was originally on Ecuadors 30-man preliminary roster before being cut by head coach Reinaldo Rueda. However, the injury to Castillo has opened the door for Minda, who plays the same defensive midfield role as Castillo but who will likely serve as depth for Ecuador. Calgary FlamesIn the eyes of many people, the Calgary Flames were the closest Canadian team to winning the Cup since the Habs won it in 1993. Replica Basketball Jerseys . What a great run they had in the 2004 Playoffs as the entire city of Calgary seemed to be behind them. The great play of Jarome Iginla, Craig Conroy and goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff carried the Flames throughout the playoffs. After knocking off the Canucks in the first round, the Flames pulled off a huge upset, beating the Presidents Trophy-winning Red Wings in the second round. The sky was the limit for the Flames after taking down the Wings, and they almost came through. After beating San Jose in the Conference Final, they would square off against the Tampa Bay Lightning for the Cup. The Flames jumped out to a 3-2 series lead, but would devastatingly lose the final two games of the series, making the Lightning the 2004 Stanley Cup champions. The Flames were ridiculously close to winning the cup considering the series went the distance, and both game 6 and game 7 losses were one-goal games. There was also a controversial call in Game 6 where Flames forward Martin Gelinas looked to score a late goal to break a 2-2 tie, but it did not count. Replays showed that the puck did cross the line:The Flames were awfully close, and if a couple calls went their way, they couldve been the latest Canadian team to win a cup.Vancouver CanucksIts hard to forget the spirited run the Vancouver Canucks put together during the 2011 playoffs. The Canucks were actually a cup favorite, as they would finish first in the league and win the Presidents Trophy. They carried over their great regular season play over to the playoffs, knocking off the Blackhawks, Predators, and the Sharks in the opening three rounds. Players like the Sedins, Kesler, Burrows, and Bieksa were the anchors of their success. Luongo definitely struggled at times during the playoffs but ended up having a solid performance overall, recording four shutouts. The Canucks would face off against the Boston Bruins for the Stanley Cup, but after jumping out to a 3-2 series lead, they would eventually lose the series in 7 games. With so much on the line, it was surprising to see the Canucks lose 4-0 in the seventh game in a pretty slow paced game. It was still a great run, and the furthest the Canucks would get in the Luongo era. You can check out a tribute to their run here:Edmonton OilersThe Oilers arguably had the most exciting playoff run out of any Canadian team since the Habs won it all in 1993. In 2006, the Oilers qualified for the playoffs as the eighth and final seed of the Western Conference. They were underdogs all the way through, but they just kept winning. First they took down the Presidents Trophy-winning Detroit Red Wings. They would then beat the Sharks in the second round and easily knock off the Ducks in the Conference Final in just five games. All of a sudden, the eighth seeded Oilers were in the Stanley Cup Final against the Carolina Hurricanes. Chris Pronger, Shawn Horcoff, Fernando Pasani, Ales Hemsky, and Ryan Smyth were some of the key pieces that carried the Oilers to the Cup Final. But nobody on the roster was more important than their goalie, Dwayne Roloson, who caught fire during the post-season. Roloson ended the playoffs with a .927 save percentage, but would unfortunately injure himself in the opening game of the Cup Final. Jussi Markkanen would start for the Oilers the rest of the way, and although he played fine, he did not bring the same quality of goaltending that Roloson brought. The Oilers would not be able to take down Cam Ward and the Hurricanes, as they would lose in seven games in a close series. It was fun to watch as they over-achieved with their underdog status and as many Oilers fans will tell you; you never know what could have happened if Roloson did not get hurt. You can see the Roloson injury here:So there you have it. Canadas Western Conference teams have gotten much closer to the Cup than the Eastern Conference teams since the Habs Cup win in 1993. The Winnipeg Jets just rejoined the league so they are yet to have a noteworthy run. Youve seen the East, and now youve seen the West. Air Force beat the Broncos 38-24 on Saturday night in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, dropping them to 0-6 in bowl games. Western Michigan was 8-5 this season after going 1-11 last year. This group accomplished an awful lot, Western Michigan coach P.J. Fleck said. Im proud of this football team. We had the greatest turnaround in MAC history, but were still not there yet. Air Force knows how to win and deserves a ton of credit. Western Michigan, which used the motto Row The Boat all season, was in the right place for that motto Saturday. Playing in a driving rainstorm on a waterlogged blue field, the Broncos tried to row themselves back into the game after falling behind 23-10 after three quarters. Pinned at their own 8, Western Michigan embarked on a nine play, 92-yard drive that was capped by the second of three touchdown passes from Zach Terrell to Corey Davis. The 35-yard hookup made it 23-17 with 13:26 to play. After holding the Falcons, Western Michigans Daniel Braverman returned a punt for a touchdown and appeared to pull his team even. The play was called back because of an illegal block in the back. It was a penalty, Fleck said. We didnt need the block. Youre not going to beat a team like that making that many mistakes. Western Michigan moved into Air Force territory, but the comeback ended quickly. Terrell was hit while scrambling by Falcon linebacker Shane Proctor and fumbled. Air Force defensive back Dexter White scooped up the loose ball and returned it 60 yards for the clinching touchdown. That was big, Air Force linebacker Jordan Pierce said. Im proud of our defence. That touchdown really turned the game in our favour - thats all she wrote. Terrell said he was looking for Taylor when he started to scramble. I didnt realize someone was behind me, Terrell said. The ball is our program. I cant leet that happen. Wholesale Basketball Jerseys. I have to have a vice grip on the ball and cant let it get out. Fleck agreed that play was a back-breaker. Thats a 14-point swing in about 35 seconds, Fleck said. Weve got to learn from that and find ways to win. Thats how quick a football game can change. Davis finished with 8 catches for 176 yards and three touchdowns to earn the Most Valuable Player honours for his team. Western Michigan started strong, recovering a fumble on the first play from scrimmage that set up a 25-yard field goal by Andrew Haldeman and led 10-6 after Davis first touchdown grab, a 47-yarder. Air Force, though, rallied in the second quarter to take the lead for good. Sophomore running back Shayne Dalvern scored his second touchdown of the game on a career-long 55-yard run to give the Falcons a 13-10 advantage. Dalvern finished with 102 yards and two touchdowns to earn the Air Force MVP award. Dalvern also carried six yards on a fake punt in the second quarter that picked up a first down and allowed his team to take a 20-10 lead when Devin Rushing capped the 15-play, 80-yard drive on a fourth day play. In the first half, the Broncos hurt themselves. Two penalties on third down gave Air Force first downs on their first scoring drive. Thats uncharacteristic of us, Fleck said, adding that the penalties all seemed to come at critical junctures of the game. Air Force, which also had one of the best turnarounds in college football this season, became the first team since 2010 to go from a 10-loss season to a 10-win campaign. The Falcons were 2-10 in 2013 and finished 10-3 this season. Air Force ran for 284 yards and converted all four of its chances in the red zone. Western Michigan entered the game averaging 178.5 yards per game rushing but finished with only 79 on 26 carries. Give Air Force all the credit, Fleck said. It was like running uphill, both ways in the snow backwards against their defence. ' ' '

MANHATTAN, Kan. Adidas Nmd r2 Herren Sale . -- Marcus Foster scored 17 points, Nino Williams made two free throws with 5.7 seconds left and Kansas State held off No. 6 Oklahoma State 74-71 on Saturday in the Big 12 opener for both teams. Williams finished with 15 points, none bigger than his two free throws that gave the Wildcats (11-3, 1-0) a three-point lead. Marcus Smart of the Cowboys raced up court and threw up a running 3-point try as the final buzzer sounded, but it clanked harmlessly off the rim and fell to the court. Thomas Gipson added 10 points and 11 rebounds for Kansas State, which has won nine straight after losing to the likes of Northern Colorado and Charlotte earlier in the season. LeBryan Nash scored 20 points, Markel Brown finished with 16 and Smart added 15 for the Cowboys (12-2, 0-1), who were plagued by foul trouble after already missing two of their key players. Michael Cobbins, their best big man, sustained a season-ending Achilles injury on Monday, and freshman guard Stevie Clark -- their second-leading scorer off the bench -- did not play after he was arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession on Wednesday. It was a crippling start to the Big 12 season for Oklahoma State, which is hoping to challenge perennial favourite Kansas for the conference title. But it couldnt have been a much better beginning for the Wildcats, who tied the Jayhawks for the regular-season championship a year ago. The Wildcats, whove made a habit of pummeling opponents during their win streak, tried to wear down the short-handed Cowboys in the first half. They pawed and pressed and got physical with Smart and Nash as much as possible, and both of them were clearly frustrated. Both of them also picked up two fouls late in the first half. Kansas State was unable to take advantage of the brief stretch in which both sat on the bench, though. Foster scored in the waning seconds of the half to put the Wildcats in front, but the Cowboys raced up court and Brown managed to curl in a layup at the buzzer for a 38-37 lead. The senior dished a bit of attitude at the Kansas State student section as he left the floor. Oklahoma State tried to extend the lead early in the second half, and Smarts dunk and foul with about 13 1/2 minutes left provided a cushion. But Smart decided to do a chin-up on the rim and slap the backboard after his slam, and he was hit with a technical -- his fourth foul of the game. While he took a seat, the Wildcats started to gather momentum. Shane Southwell hit a 3 from in front of his own bench to knot the game 52-all with just over 9 minutes left, his first points of the game. A few minutes later, Nash picked up his fourth foul, and Cowboys coach Travis Ford put Smart back in the game. The Wildcats went right at him, and Smart wisely backed down on a couple of occasions to avoid picking up his fifth foul. That allowed the Wildcats to surge ahead, taking a 65-60 lead when Foster slashed through the lane and curled in a layup with 3 1/2 minutes remaining. That matched the biggest lead of the game for either team. The number climbs with age, reaching 52 per cent of those 55 and older. But when it comes to actually watching the CFL championship, only 24 per cent overall said they will definitely watch Sunday. Another 36 per cent werent sure, with some waiting to see who was playing, while 40 per cent wont be watching.Men outnumbered women among the watchers (33 per cent to 16 per cent) and the disparity was also great based on age, with only 19 per cent of the 18-34 group planning to tune in and 31 per cent of those 55 and older. The middle age group came in at 23 per cent.Support in general for the Grey Cup and CFL was stronger in Western Canada and strongest of all in Saskatchewan, where tthe CFL tops even the NHL in popularity more than 2-to-1. Nmd Schuhe Sale Deutschland. .In the rest of Canada, the NHL is the most closely followed league, according to the survey, with the CFL a distant second (40 per cent to 21 per cent). Major League Baseball is third at 18 per cent and at the bottom of the list the NBA edges out Major League Soccer at eight per cent and seven per cent.Among those surveyed, the CFL is still more popular than the NFL, which came in fourth at just 17 per cent. But when it comes to marquee football games, the Super Bowl edges out the Grey Cup.Asked to pick which game theyd watch if they could only watch one, 52 per cent nationally picked the Super Bowl and 48 per cent picked the Grey Cup. Again, in Western Canada the Grey Cup was an easy winner, maxing out in Saskatchewan and Manitoba at 77 per cent each. And, once again, age told the tale with 61 per cent of those 55 and over picking the Grey Cup and 65 per cent of those aged 18-34 picking the Super Bowl. The numbers come from an Angus Reid Institute online survey involving 1,504 Angus Reid Forum panellists conducted between Nov. 18-21. The polling industrys professional body, the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association, says online surveys cannot be assigned a margin of error as they are not a random sample and therefore are not necessarily representative of the whole population. ST. Ryan Anderson Suns Jersey . LOUIS - St. Louis upped its bid Friday to either keep the Rams or lure a new NFL team, unveiling plans for a new open-air football stadium on the banks of the Mississippi River, not far from the Gateway Arch. The 64,000-seat stadium would cost $860 million to $985 million, with construction beginning in 2016 and ending by 2020.The proposal was announced by attorney Robert Blitz and former Anheuser-Busch president David Peacock, a team appointed by Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon in November to develop the plan. The NFL and the team would be responsible for up to half the cost of the stadium, while some funding would come from tax credits and other public financing, including possibly extending current bonds used to pay off the Edward Jones Dome, where the Rams play. But city and state leaders have long said there is no appetite for again tapping taxpayers, which is reflected in the plan that calls for no new taxes or bonds. Seat licensing fees would also help pay for the project. Its more than just a football stadium, Peacock said. Were talking about a continuation of the revitalization of our downtown.St. Louis is trying to avoid becoming a two-time loser of NFL franchises, as the Cardinals left for Arizona in 1987. Blitz said Nixon sought a new stadium plan so that this history does not repeat itself here in St. Louis. The Edward Jones Dome is outdated by NFL standards despite being just 20 years old. Negotiations over improvements to the dome — which was built with taxpayer money — went nowhere in recent years. The Rams 30-year lease will be on a year-to-year basis starting next season because of a clause that the stadium be among the top quarter of NFL venues.Speculation is rampant in St. Louis that Rams owner Stan Kroenke will move the team to Los Angeles, the nations second-largest market, in 2016. The league has said no team movement will be allowed this year. Those concerns escalated Monday when Kroenke was announced as part of a joint venture building an 80,000-seat stadium in the Los Angeles suburbs. The new stadium plan has been shared with NFL officials and the Rams, Peacock said, but he has not spoken directly with Kroenke. Phone messages left with Kroenkes office were not returned. The Rams said in a statement that theyll review the new plan and speak with states stadium task force, and added that the team has worked for many years, with several agencies and commissions, and their senior management, responsible for stadium facilities in St. Louis.St. Louis city leaders have been frustrated with Kroenke, saying hes refused to return their calls. Much of the effort to either keep the team or attract another is being conducted directly with the league, not the team or Kroenke.City leaders and civic boosters say St. Louis has a compelling argument to remain an NFL city: It is the nations 20th largest market, with a loyal fan base that sold out every game from the teams arrival in 1995 until its 11 straight losing seasons — which along with uncertainty about the future — soured some fans. The new stadium would be built in a largely blighted area, making it eligible for various tax credits, Peacock said. Just north of the Gateway Arch on the northwest edge of downtown, the stadium would be surrounded by a 10,000-space parking lot that provides an area for tailgating. The stadium also could help attract a Major League Soccer franchise, Peacock said. The plan also calls for upgrading the Edward Jones Dome, making it more attractive for large conventions. This proposal would not only protect St. Louiss status as an NFL city, it would also provide the opportunity to redevelop underutilized areas of the city and create jobs, Nixon said in a statement Friday.City and state leaders agree there is no appetite for new public funding. Nixon has said no new taxes or fees would be used for the new stadium, but has hinted that the 30-year bonds issued for the domes construction could be extended. The state of Missouri pays $12 million annually toward the debt; the city and St. Louis County pay $6 million each.Peacock and Blitz have NFL ties. Peacock worked directly with the league on advertising and marketing while at Anheuser Busch, and is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame advisory board. Blitz was part of the legal team that helped bring the Rams to St. Louis and is legal counsel to the St. Louis Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority. We are an NFL city. ALGIERS, Algeria -- The Muslim players in World Cup teams that have qualified for the second round in Brazil face a thorny question on Sunday when much of the Islamic world will start observing the holy month of Ramadan with a dawn to dusk fast. Grant Hill Suns Jersey . The question is trickiest for the Algerian team, which faces a formidable German side on Monday. There are also Muslims on the Nigerian and French teams and those players also will have to weigh their religious convictions against the possible effects of fasting on their performance. "We need to discuss it among ourselves," Algerian player Djamel Mesbah said. "Its clear that our religion is very important for the team, so we will talk about it and see how to go forward." Athletes in the Olympics in 2012 faced the same hurdle, with many teams allowing their players to eat during Ramadan so as not to impair their performance and make up for it at another time or make donations to charity. While fasting during daytime over the 30 days of Ramadan, including abstaining from drinking liquids, is mandatory for all able bodied Muslims and one of the five pillars of Islam, there are exemptions, including for the sick, pregnant, infirm or elderly. Those travelling or going to war are also excluded and it is under this provision that most athletes will likely delay the fast until a more suitable time. Algerian team captain Madjid Bouguerra pointed out in interviews with the Algerian press that it is a challenge Muslim players in European clubs have long faced and when he was with the Glasgow Rangers, he fasted but made sure he kept his performance up. "The hardest thing is staying hydrated, but its ok, the weathers good here," he said. "Some players will postpone their fast for another time, but depending on my physical condition, I think I will do it." Bacary Sagna, a Muslim player in the French squad, said that many of the players who do it are used to it from their time in the European leagues and able to function. "As a Muslim I know that there are certain rules that allow us to avoid it," he told The Associated Press in Ribeirao Preto, Brazil. "Personally Im not going to do it, everyones free to do as they will and I totally respect those that will do it." From a religious standpoint, however, it becomes a bit more complex. Islam lacks a central hierarchy like the Catholic church and any imam can issue an opinion that is then obeyed depending on how much respect they command. Even in Algeria, which is bathing in the euphoria of qualifying for the second round of the World Cup for the first time in its history, there have been a range of opinions from religious scholars, with some coming out quite strongly against fasting exemptions. "It is not allowed for an Algerian player to avoiding fasting just for a game -- they must fast because God is with those who fast and young people can fast and play at the same time," said Mohammed Mekerkab, the head of Algerias association of religious scholars. He also dismissed the exemption for travel claimed by most athletes since the provision was only for voyages undertaken in the search for knowledge, health reasons or fighting jihad. Algerias government-appointed High Islamic Council, however, has come down in favour of those wanting to delay their fast. Sheikh Mohammed Sherif Kaher, the head of the councils commission for religious opinions said "those playing can abstain from fasting." Dr. Hakim Chalabi, a specialist in sports and fasting who accompanied the team to Brazil, admitted in an interview that it is a delicate question because of the need for hydration and the increased risk of injuries. He noted, though, that fasting wasnt always a total hindrance to players. "We are often asked to urge players not to fast, but oddly, in some cases, there are athletes that get better results during Ramadan because they are fasting and want to," he said. "It can be a spiritual and psychological aid." Steve Nash Jersey . First, the Red Wings scored the tying goal after officials missed the puck hitting the protective netting, then the Kings wound up losing in a shootout. That could affect playoff positioning in the Eastern and Western Conferences, and thats a concern for everyone.Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Jaroslav Halak stopped 17 shots while Anders Lee netted the winning score midway through the second period as the New York Islanders recorded a 2-1 win over Detroit at Joe Louis Arena. Brock Nelson picked up a goal and one assist for the Islanders, winners of three in a row who closed the gap over idle division-leading Pittsburgh to two points. Were fortunate in certain ways, Isles head coach Jack Capuano said. Some teams we struggle with. Obviously, theyre a good hockey club. Not saying that we have their number, but any time you play them, you know that you have to be at your best and have guys step up to the occasion. Henrik Zetterbergs first-period marker was all the offense for the Red Wings, whose season-high losing skid reached five games. Petr Mrazek took the loss, having given up the lead goal on 23 shots in relief of Jimmy Howard. Howard exited after the first period due to a lower-body injury having stopped eight shots. Mrazek gave up New Yorks go-ahead score to Lee just after the midway point of regulation but it wasnt without controversy. Nelson stripped Wings forward Riley Sheahan between the circles, faked out Mrazek and tucked a shot through his pads which rested inches from the goal line. Lee followed up and swatted the puck just over the line before Jonathan Ericsson swept it back into the crease. A brief replay confirmed the shot was good. Detroits Justin Abdelkader went off for tripping with 3:355 to play, and teammate Darren Helm had a partial short-handed breakaway foiled by the close checking of Isles blueliner Lubomir Visnovsky as his low shot just slid wide of the right post. Jevon Carter Jersey. Mrazek went to the bench for an extra skater for the final 68 seconds of regulation but the Wings failed to extend the contest. We had good, good chances but we never hit the net. Youve got to hit the net on some of them, said Red Wings head coach Mike Babcock. I thought it was a pretty high-level hockey game. I was impressed with their team, but I was impressed with lots of things we did, too. Zetterberg gave the hosts a lead less than nine minutes in thanks to a one- timer from distance. Nelson tied the game with just under three minutes left in the first period when his diving poke at a Visnovsky rebound slid through Howards pads and in. SAN JOSE, Calif. Adidas Eqt Trainers Uk . - Matt Read, Michael Raffl and Claude Giroux scored in a span of 2:45 early in the third period to erase a one-goal deficit and lead the Philadelphia Flyers past San Jose 5-2 on Monday night for their first win over the Sharks since 2000. Mark Streit and Jacob Voracek also scored and Steve Mason made 20 saves for the Flyers, who had 11 losses and two ties in the series since beating the Sharks on Dec. 21, 2000. Sharks rookie Matt Nieto scored twice in the first period for his first career multigoal game, but that lead was erased in a flash early in the third period when Antti Niemi was sent to the bench as San Jose lost for the fourth time in five games. The Sharks have just four goals in those five games but were in position to get the win before the Flyers took advantage of shaky goaltending by Niemi and lacklustre overall play from San Jose to set a franchise record with their 10th win this season when trailing in the third period. Read started the onslaught when his shot on the rush deflected off defenceman Matt Irwins stick to tie the game 1:11 into the third. The Flyers took the lead just 1:18 later when Niemi gave up a big rebound on Erik Gustafssons point shot that went right to Raffl in the slot. A neutral-ice turnover by Irwin led to Girouxs 18th goal on a shot that deflected off Niemis glove, stunning the home crowd 1:27 after Philadelphia took the lead. Giroux also set up Voraceks late goal that sealed the win, finishing the game with a goal and two assists. The Flyers had controlled play since the first period but were unable to get the equalizer until early in the third. Niemi made a nice save early in the second against Wayne Simmonds, and Scott Hartnell and Gustafsson each missed the net on good chances later in the period. The Sharks almost extended their lead on a late power play but Mason robbed Brent Burns with a glove save to keep San Joses lead at 2-1 heading into the third. The teams traded power-play goals early in the first period, with Streit scoring on a point shot through a screen by Simmonds after Nieto was called for hooking in the offensive zone. Nieto more than made up for his transgression the rest of the period. With Nicklas Grossmann in the box for hooking, Irwin shot the puck into the corner from his own blue line. Tommy Wingels raced to the puck to negate an icing call and sent a perfect feed to Nieto in front of the net for the deflection on his first career power-play goal. Nieto was the recipient of another nice pass later in the period, when Burns set him up with a blind, backhand pass from the corner that led to his second goal. That gave the Sharks a 2-1 lead that lasted until the third. NOTES: Flyers D Kimmo Timonen was scratched for the second straight game with a foot injury. ... The case was dismissed but the judge said it had nevertheless been a corrupt deal and questioned Ecclestones honesty. "Even ... making allowances for the lapse of time and Mr Ecclestones age, I am afraid that I find it impossible to regard him as a reliable or truthful witness," judge Guy Newey said. A former F1 shareholder, German media company Constantin Medien, had sued Ecclestone and other defendants for up to $144 million, claiming F1 was undervalued at the time of the sale to investment group CVC Capital Partners. The 83-year-old Ecclestone was accused of entering into a "corrupt agreement" with German banker Gerhard Gribkowsky to facilitate the sale of Formula One Group to a buyer chosen by him. The High Court said the deal was corrupt, but ruled that Constantin Medien did not lose out as a result. "No loss to Constantin has been shown to have been caused by the corrupt arrangement with Dr Gribkowsky," the judge said in his conclusions. "That fact is fatal to the claim." During the trial, which ran from October to December last year, Constantin Mediens lawyers said that payments totalling about 27 million pounds ($45 million) were made to Gribkowsky at the instigation of Ecclestone. Gribkowsky, who was in charge of selling German bank BayernLBs 47-per cent stake in F1 to CVC, hhas already been found guilty of corruption, tax evasion and breach of trust and is serving an 8 1/2-year prison sentence. Cheap Adidas Nmd Chukka Uk. Ecclestone acknowledged during Gribkowskys trial that he made the payment to avoid being reported by the banker to authorities over his tax affairs. "The payments were a bribe. They were made because Mr Ecclestone had entered into a corrupt agreement with Dr Gribkowsky in May 2005 under which Dr Gribkowsky was to be rewarded for facilitating the sale of BLBs shares in the Formula One group to a buyer acceptable to Mr Ecclestone," the judge said. Constantin said it would appeal the decision. "The judge ruled against Constantin essentially on technical grounds -- including extremely complicated questions of German law which is the governing law in the case -- and Constantin will be appealing those findings," said lawyer Keith Oliver, head of commercial fraud litigation at Peters and Peters Solicitors. Ecclestone is also facing trial in Germany. He is charged with bribery and incitement to breach of trust connected with the payment to Gribkowsky. The trial will begin on April 24 and is set to run until Sept. 16. Bribery convictions can result in prison sentences ranging from three months to 10 years in Germany. Ecclestone said earlier this month he is expecting the case to be thrown out before the trial starts. Ecclestone has stepped down as a member of F1s holding company board of directors pending the outcome of the trial but continues running the sport. ' ' '

ABBOTSFORD, B. Seattle Mariners Pro Shop .C. -- Texas Stars centre Dustin Jeffrey flew under the Abbotsford Heats radar, but hes sure to attract more attention in the future. The 26-year-old spoiled Abbotsfords annual morning school day game Tuesday as he scored his first two goals of the American Hockey League season to lift the Texas Stars over the Abbotsford Heat 3-1. Entering Tuesdays game, Jeffrey had just three assists in 33 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Dallas Stars and Texas Stars. "Its been a difficult year," he said. "To get these two goals is big. I thought Ive been playing pretty well, helping our team in different ways with the penalty kill and whatever they need, so to contribute this way at a 10:30 a.m. game is big." "Dustins a great hockey player," added teammate Brendan Ranford. "Hes been chugging a little bit of late trying to get that puck into the net a Hes been going hard to the net and a lot of bounces werent going in for him, but tonight they were." Jeffreys second goal proved to be the game winner. Ranford sped down the left side of the ice and dished the puck off to Jeffrey who buried it just under Joey MacDonalds blocker from the top of the left circle at 8:55 of the middle period. "(Jamie Oleksiak) made a great breakout play," said Jeffrey. "We ended up having a four on three rush. I just took a step back and let the guys charge the net, (Ranford) hit me with the pass and it went right through the screen." Brett Richie had a goal, while Ranford picked up two assists. Oleksiak and Scott Glennie each added an assist in the victory. "We knew it was going to battle," said Jeffrey. "We knew that for us to be successful we had to play a strong game and take our chances when they came." Jack Campbell stopped 23 shots in the win for Texas (34-16-8). "Campbell hasnt played in forever because of the injury hes been having," Ranford said. "Hes an exceptional goalie a Hes always square to the shooter and he played very well for us and thats what we need." Sven Baertschi had the lone goal for the Heat (33-19-6), who are now winless in their last five games. "I thought it was a great game from both sides," Baertschi said. "It was up and down, and great speed, too. It was a lot of fun to play today. We just couldnt put the puck in." MacDonald stopped 22 of 25 shots in the loss. Texas went 0-for-1 in on the power play while Abbotsford was 0-for-3. "In general, they were opportunistic," said Abbotsford head coach Troy Ward. "We had a couple of those chances, and we didnt score a They were just a little bit more opportunistic this morning." At 14:41 of the first period, MacDonald denied Texas forward Colton Sceviour when he stacked his pads to make a stop. Baertschi opened the scoring less than a minute later with a snap shot from the bottom of the right circle, beating Campbell high glove side. Jeffrey tied the game at 19:21 with his first goal of the season. Glennie found the puck down low and worked it behind the net to Ranford who found Jeffrey in front for the easy tap-in. "Glennie made a pretty good play to draw two of the defenders to him and that left Ranford open," explained Jeffrey. "He made a good play coming around the net and I just tried to create space in front of the net. He made a great play to find me and it basically went right off my stick." Brett Richie gave Texas a 3-1 lead at 10:29 of the third period on an unassisted breakaway, splitting two Heat defenders and going backhand high over a sprawling MacDonald. Mariners Jerseys China . It was barely good enough. The 24-year-old All-Star scored 21 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter and inspired Indiana to fend off Miamis late challenges as the Pacers staved off playoff elimination with a 93-90 Game 5 victory on Wednesday night. "My message to the whole team was the light needs to be on green for all of us," coach Frank Vogel said. "You need to go, you need to attack, you need to be aggressive. Paul took it and ran with it and took it to a crazy level." The most crucial shooting performance of Georges career allowed the Pacers to climb within 3-2 in the Eastern Conference finals and postponed Miamis fourth straight coronation as conference champs. Game 6 is Friday in Miami. It took everything in Georges repertoire to get it done. He was 12 of 19 from the field in the second half, finished with six rebounds, six steals, five 3-pointers and only three turnovers in 45 minutes. But the Pacers also needed everything else to go right. Four-time MVP LeBron James was limited to 24 1/2 minutes because of major foul trouble. He finished with a career playoff-low seven points, two rebounds and four assists. The Heat committed 17 turnovers, compared to just 13 for the usually turnover-prone Pacers, and Indiana had a 45-38 rebounding edge, too. The biggest difference was George, whose 21 fourth-quarter points were the most scored against Miami in any playoff quarter. The previous record, 20, was set by Michael Jordan in May 1997. "I just felt it. I felt in rhythm. I had to be aggressive," George said. "I tried to come out and be aggressive to start this game off and I was getting looks. I got hot." George fell just short of his playoff career high, the 39 he had in Game 4 against Washington in the previous series, and was just four points short of Reggie Millers franchise record in an NBA playoff game. For Miami, it was a rare stumble in an elimination game in the Big Three era. Three other times, the Heat had lost Game 1 on the road and all three times they won the next four games to close out the series. The Heat were in position to do it again Wednesday even with James limitations. Chris Bosh scored 20 points, Dwyane Wade and Rashard Lewis each had 18, and the Heat made 15 of 31 3-pointers to stay within clinching distance. After holding the Pacers to 11 points in the second quarteer, only 33 in the first half and surviving two long first-half stretches without James, the Heat couldnt hold off the Pacers when James went to the bench again with his fifth foul early in the third quarter. Brandon Roy Blazers Jersey. Yet, the Heat still had a chance to take the lead with 4.9 seconds left. But Boshs 3-pointer was off the mark and the Pacers grabbed the rebound. "We still had enough opportunities to come away with a win," coach Erik Spoelstra said. "We just couldnt get over the hump." Hard falls and tough plays were a theme all night for a Pacers team that had been roundly criticized for its lack of effort in Monday nights loss. Lance Stephenson took it a step farther. At one point, he attempted to listen in on one of Miamis huddle. At another, he blew in James ear. "Im just here to play basketball, man. All the extracurricular activities, I dont really get into," James said. "Im just trying to win. We need one more win to get to the finals. Thats my only concern. All the extra stuff, whatever Lance wants to do, I dont really care about that." It looked like the Heat might clinch their fourth straight conference title Wednesday, something last done by the Celtics from 1984-87, when the Pacers trailed 50-41 with 6:56 left in the third quarter. Then George took over. He started an 11-0 run with a layup and ended it with a steal that he turned into a dunk to give the Pacers a 52-50 lead. Miami quickly tied it on Udonis Haslems layup, but George answered with a 3-pointer that sent the Pacers on a 12-5 run to make it 64-57 after three. Indiana extended the lead to as much as 77-66 early in the fourth on another George dunk, but when James re-entered, things changed. The Heat scored nine straight to make it 77-75, tied it at 81 on James only 3 of the night with 3:51 to play and twice managed to get within one in the final 76 seconds. George then hit a 3 and West made 1 of 2 free throws in the closing seconds to seal it. Notes: James scored in single digits for the first time since finishing with eight against Dallas on June 7, 2011. Hes only scored in single digits 10 times in his career. ... Roy Hibbert, who had only five rebounds in Game 4, had five in the first seven minutes Wednesday and finished with 13. ... TORONTO -- When the Toronto Raptors gathered in a timeout huddle with just under six minutes to play Tuesday night, DeMar DeRozan sat forlorn and frustrated at the end of the bench. Boty Adidas Nmd Levně . He gazed at the floor, and fought to regain his composure. It could have spelled disaster. Instead, DeRozan -- calm restored -- grabbed the game by the throat in the final three minutes to lead Toronto to a 100-95 victory over the Brooklyn Nets in Game 2 of their playoff series Tuesday. "Its just my competitive spirit," DeRozan explained. "Just calmed myself down. I was a little frustrated that I couldnt be out there with my team at that critical moment. It was just me keeping myself together, not being so frustrated, just staying focused." The Raptors top scorer had just picked up his fifth foul and Dwane Casey had taken him out of the game, despite DeRozan pleading with his coach to keep him in. DeRozan scored 10 of his 30 points in the games final three minutes, hitting two big buckets right after he returned to the game, his second a fadeaway jumper from 18 feet that had him flexing his chest and growling in celebration. The first-game jitters that haunted him in Game 1? Gone. Winning the game for his team down the stretch was "everything you dream about." "Especially when you become a professional athlete at the highest level, and have that trust from your coaching staff and your teammates to have the ball in your hands, and win the game for them," the 24-year-old DeRozan said. "Thats big, and I appreciate all 14 guys in that locker-room and the coaching staff to have that trust in me to take those shots in the fourth quarter." The best-of-seven Eastern Conference series is tied at one game apiece and heads to Brooklyn for Game 3 on Friday and Game 4 on Sunday. Amir Johnson had 16 points and nine rebounds, Jonas Valanciunas had 15 points and 14 boards for his second double-double of the series, while Kyle Lowry had 14 points, nine boards and six assists. Patrick Patterson added 12 points and nine rebounds for the Atlantic Division champions. Joe Johnson topped the Nets with 18 points, while Deron Williams had 15, Mirza Teletovic added 14, and Kevin Garnett finished with 13. Toronto outrebounded Brooklyn 52-30. Casey had predicted a completely different group of players -- especially DeRozan -- would show up for Game 2 after the majority of them looked overwhelmed by the bright lights of the playoffs in Game 1. "The game is about adjustments," DeRozan said. "Im a student of the game. I went back and watched the whole game (Saturdays loss) two or three times, to understand where I could get my shots, opportunities, where I could score and get easy buckets." The Raptors led by as much as 11 in the first half but the Nets got hot in the third quarter and took a 66-64 advantage into the fourth. DeRozan poured in seven points early in the fourth -- including a massive left-handed dunk that had capacity crowd of 20,382 fans at the Air Canada Centre -- that included Mayor Rob Ford, Drake and multimillionaire NBA superfan Jimmy Goldstein -- roaring. DeRozans 17 fourth-quarter points, alone, were two points better than his entire output in Saturdays 94-87 Game 1 loss. The Raptors outscored the Nets 36-29 in the final 12 minutes. The Raptors went up by five with 1:10 to play after Lowry drained a shot then stole the ball, leading to a Patterson free throw. Lowry raised his hands to the crowd like a conductor directs an orchestra, encouraging the fans to cheer louder. "Earlier in the year we wanted to be the Freddy Krueger of the NBA. Not give up, not give in," Casey said. "I think our guys have done that. We won against a very veteran team like Brooklyn, and that is very difficult to do because they seem to find a way to challenge you and keep you on your toes." Paul Pierce, who scorched the Raptors down the stretch in Game 1, missed on a three-point attempt that would have tied the game with about 30 seconds to play. "Yeah, I got some looks," Pierce said. "Sometimes they fall, sometimes they dont. I think tonight it really wasnt about the offence again, we put ourselves in that position. We have to be better in the fourth quarter defensively. "When you go on the road and you are trying to steal two on the other teams home court, you have to be better in the fourth quarter defensively." DeRozan drained two free throws with 20.6 seconds left to seal the victory for Toronto. Johnson then took flight for a massive dunk to the delight of the delirious fans -- the perfect punctuation mark on a solid game by the entire Raptors team. "Just for me and DeMar, weve been through the ups and downs of this team," Johnson said. "This year we broke so many records, and we finally made it to this level. . . it just means a lot to be here for five years and to finally get to this stage. "We were here when people thought you could just come to Toronto and get a win," added DeRozan, seated beside Johnson at the post-game press conference. "Weve been through all that, frustrating seasons. "And we want everybody to know when you play against the Toronto Raptors youre going to have to fight, youre going to have to bring your game, and thats the passion every single guy on this team has." If there was one glaring negative, it was turnovers -- again. The Raptors coughed up 17 points on 21 turnovers. Saturday, they gave up 17 points on 19 turnovers and vowed to clean up the giveaways. Now the series heads to the unfriendly confines of Brooklyns Barclays Center -- likely made more unfriendly by the F-bomb Raptors GM Masai Ujiri dropped in relation to Brooklyn when addressing fans Saturday. "I think we always play well on the road in hostile environments. I think we proved it this year," DeRozan said. "Its really no pressure when we play on the road. Its just us, we dont pay attention to the crowd, the odds being stacked against us, we understand everythings on us and thats how we play." The players at least didnt have to put up with the distraction of Saturdays shot-clock fiasco. The power sources to the clocks were replaced after they were fried in the third quarter of Game 1, leaving announcer Herbie Kuhn to count down the 24 seconds on each possession. As in Game 1, hundreds of fans jammed Maple Leaf Square outside the ACC to watch the game on the giant screen. Valanciunas led the way with eight points in the first quarter punctuated by a circus play that led to a Ross basket -- Valanciunas took a shot and missed while falling down, and grabbed his own rebound while still on his backside, chucking a pass from the seated position. The play was part of a 15-3 run that put the Raptors up by five with about three minutes left in the quarter. Toronto took a 21-19 lead into the second. The Raptors opened the second with a 14-7 run to take an 11-point lead but the Nets fought back to cut Torontos lead to 45-39 heading into the dressing room at halftime. Johnson ran amok for 12 points in the third, and the Nets outscored the Raptors 27-19 in the quarter to lead by two points with a quarter left to play. This agreement is significant for the Senators, our fans and the future of our franchise." Beginning next season, the agreement will see TSN and RDS each broadcast its slate of regular season and pre-season games in the Ottawa Senators designated broadcast region, which spans Eastern and Northern Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Canada, and Newfoundland. The new agreement also grants full radio broadcast rights to TSN Radio 1200 in Ottawa, continuing to make it the official English radio voice of the Ottawa Senators over the next 12 years. Additionally, the Senators and Bell are strengthening their exclusive corporate telecommunications sponsorship over the long-term. It includes a broad variety of activations on all levels, including community engagement, in-arena promotions and branding, and retail support through The Source. Bell, an original partner of the Ottawa Senators, has a relationship with the team that dates back 22 seasons to when the team returned to the NHL – marking Bells longest relationship with an NHL franchise. This partnership will also continue to invest in the community. Bell will remain the official sponsor of the Senators official practice arena, the Bell Sensplex, and the Bell Capital Cup, one of the worlds largest minor hockey tournaments. The agreement features a number of future programs to enhance the fan experience, both inside and outside of Canadian Tire Centre. Details on these initiatives will be announced at a later date. Along with being the official regional television broadcast rights holders for the Ottawa Senators, Bell Media also holds long-term broadcast rights for the Toronto Maple Leafs (TSN and TSN Radio 1050), Winnipeg Jets (TSN and TSN Radio 1290), Montreal Canadiens (RDS and TSN Radio 690), Vancouver Canucks (TEAM 1040), along with all Hockey Canada games including the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship, IIHF Hockey Championship and the IIHF World Womens Hockey Championship. VANCOUVER - The Vancouver Canucks hit the road for crucial back-to-back games this week knowing full well that their season likely hangs in the balance. Jalen Lecque Suns Jersey . With just nine contests left on the schedule and the club sitting four points adrift in the Western Conference playoff race, the Canucks have no margin for error. "Everybodys looking at the standings. We are too," head coach John Tortorella said after Tuesdays practice at Rogers Arena. "All we can do is control what we have. "Were going to keep on trying to battle away here and find points." That begins Wednesday in Minnesota against the Wild before another tough test the following night against the Colorado Avalanche. Both teams are all but locked into playoff positions, something the Canucks can only dream of at this point. While the standings dont look all that daunting at first glance — the eighth-place Phoenix Coyotes were four points up with a game in hand on Vancouver heading into Tuesday — the math tells a different story. The website www.sportsclubstats.com, which calculates teams playoff chances, currently gives the Canucks just a 2.3 per cent shot at making this years post-season. Its a stunning slide for a club that has become accustomed to battling for division titles in recent years, not its playoff life. Vancouver has won its last two games over the punchless Nashville Predators and the Buffalo Sabres to stay above water, but the Wild and Avalanche should pose a much tougher test in what could be two season-defining contests. "Weve been a very resilient group. Weve been on the outside looking in for a while now and weve climbed right back up there," said Canucks defenceman Kevin Bieksa. "Weve had some tough losses for sure. Theres no hiding that, but we keeping fighting. "Were still here. Were still standing." They might not be after this week. Apart from the Coyotes, the Dallas Stars also stand in the way of the Canucks playoff hopes. Dallas was three points up on Vancouver with two games in hand heading into Tuesday. But if Vancouver can survive the trip to Minnesota and Colorado, the club could have some life with six of its final seven games coming at home. "Im just trying to take it day by day here," said goaltender Eddie Lack, who is expected to make his 14th straight start Wednesday. "I know (Phoenix and Dallas) have a really tough schedule left. We have a lot of home games too so hopefully we can take advantage of that and just do our part here and well see if its enough or not." Canucks forward Zack Kassian said the players are aware of the out-of-town scoreboard each night, but added that the daunting task makes his preparation easier. "We know theres only nine and we know that every one of those games is going to be very important for our hockey team," he said. "You definitely look (at the scores) as a team when youre not playing and youre seeing how other teams are doing that youre trying to chase. "At the end of the day if we dont take care of our business and win hockey games it has no effect on us." Canucks forward Daniel Sedin said he cant help but pay attention to other teams results when every point is so critical. "I think you have to right now. We need those two teams to lose a few games," he said. "I think you keep an eye on that, but on game day youre so focused on your own games you dont really worry too much about the other scores." Tortorella and his players both refuse to use injuries as an excuse, but the Canucks have rarely had a chance to ice their full lineup since the end of December. Daniel Sedin returned on Sunday against Buffalo, but the club lost Henrik Sedin the same night, while fellow forward Alexandre Burrows was hurt against Nashville. Neither will make the two-game road trip. "It cant be deflating. Weve been going through this all year long. You get a couple back, another one goes out," said Tortorella. "Its been most of our top guys ... but it cant be deflating at this time of year. We just need to stay upbeat." While refusing to use injuries as a crutch to explain his teams predicament, the fiery coach who preaches pressure in all three zones added that the crowded sick bay has left him hamstrung at times. "The lineup when we were healthy, I think we were a different team. I think it allowed us to play a little bit differently, too," said Tortorella. "When we started getting banged up there ... we had to make some adjustments within our play and it changes things." Bieksa said that despite the injuries and long odds, a belief remains in the Canucks locker-room that the playoffs are still attainable. "Weve set ourselves up to make a push at least," he said. "Were fighting to the end. Were not going to give up." Follow @JClipperton_CP on Twitter Frank Kaminsky Jersey . -- Jose Bautista never worries about hitting homers during the regular season. Lallana, who is believed to have signed a five-year deal, underwent a medical at Liverpools training ground on Friday after Southampton accepted a reported "Im so excited for the next chapter of my career, coming to a special club like Liverpool," Lallana said in an interview with the official team website. "Im quite humbled and I just cant wait to get started. "Hopefully I can settle in quickly, and I will give it my best throughout the whole time Im here. I hope I can add something to the team and hopefully we can win trophies while Im here, because thats why Im here -- for success." Lallana impressed last season with Southampton, with nine goals and six assists earning him a place on the PFA Premier League Team of the Year. The 26-year-old was also part of Englands World Cup squad and featured in all three matches in Brazil before the disappointing group stage exit. Lallana, who has chosen the No. 20 jersey, will now go on holiday before joining his new teammates for pre-season training in about three weeks. There will be a familiar face around as former Southampton teammate Rickie Lambert was signed by Liverpool last month. "Its great that I can continue my career with him as well. Thats a special moment," Lallana said. "(Its) a massive help. Ive spent the last four or five years with him. "Weve had great careers at Southampton and achieved something special, but were both thoroughly looking forward to the new challenge. Its Rickies boyhood club and a club I cant wait to be a part of." Liiverpool missed out on its first league title in 24 years last season, finishing second to Manchester City by two points following a thrilling finale. Elie Okobo Suns Jersey. "Watching the run-in towards the end of last season was unbelievable," Lallana said. "Deep down, I was thinking to myself: hopefully one day Ill be able to play in that team. That dream has become a reality now, so I cant wait for that to get started. Lallana scored 58 goals in 250 appearances during his eight seasons at Southampton, and became club captain in 2012. The fixture list means Lallana and Lambert are likely to make their competitive debuts at home to former club Southampton on the opening day of the season. "It would have been worse if it was at St Marys, Im glad its at Anfield," Lallana said. "But to be lining up against my teammates from last year just had to happen. Its fate. Rickie and I spoke about it, and he said he could have bet his mortgage on it, he knew it was going to happen." Lallana is Brendan Rodgers third signing of the summer after Lambert and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can, whose move from Germany will be ratified on Tuesday with the official opening of the transfer window for registrations. "What is apparent about Adam is that his character is on a par with his talent," Rodgers said. "We believe he fits right in with what we are trying to do at Liverpool. Adam is aware there will be great competition for places at this club and he is hungry to improve further." Southampton said it would reinvest the money received for Lallana in its squad for next season. ú25 million ($43 million) bid. ' ' '

PHILADELPHIA -- Moments after the final horn sounded, the Twitter feed @didthesixerswin posted an update. Stitched College Jerseys . For the 20th straight game, 140 characters werent needed, just two letters: No. In a city painfully familiar with sports futility, the Philadelphia 76ers have added another sorry chapter, this one for the record book. Mike Conley scored 19 points and Zach Randolph had 14 to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 103-77 win Saturday night, sending the 76ers to a franchise-tying 20th straight loss. The Sixers, who scored a season low in points, can set the team mark with a loss Monday night at Indiana. The Sixers also lost 20 straight games from Jan. 9, 1973-Feb. 11, 1973, in a 9-73 season. The NBA record for consecutive losses in a season is 26 set by the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers. "We have to come out swinging," coach Brett Brown said. "Weve got to compete." Theyve absorbed their share of blows, and more may be coming: Over the next six games, the Sixers (15-51) play only one team with a losing record, the Knicks on Friday, and they are on a six-game winning streak. Michael Carter-Williams led the Sixers with 23 points and Thaddeus Young had 20. "This is not slit-your-wrist time. This is not even close to that," Brown said. "This is about building a program and understanding the short-term pain for a lot of long-term gain. Thats my vision. Thats how I approach it." As the NBA season tipped off, the over-under in Las Vegas for total wins for the 76ers this year was 16.5, the lowest of any team in the league. They stunned the league with a 3-0 start, including an opening-night win over the Miami Heat, and won four straight road games from Dec. 29-Jan. 4. Outside of those spurts, the Sixers have played down to their preseason projection as one of the NBAs worst. "Any win we have right now would be considered an upset," Brown said. "Thats the way its played out at this stage." The Sixers last won on Jan. 29 on former guard Evan Turners buzzer-beater at Boston. Theyve lost a team-record 16 straight home games, last winning at the Wells Fargo Center on Jan. 15. "I try to ignore the comments about us losing however many straight," Carter-Williams said. The 53-year-old Brown was part of three NBA title teams with San Antonio as an assistant and won another with the Spurs when he served in the basketball operations department in 1998-99. Brown is used to a winning program at San Antonio, so hes not familiar with starting from the bottom. But the Sixers realize its not an overnight process and gave him a four-year contract to turn things around. "Ive been asked by so many people, Why would you take the job and screw up your coaching percentage?" he said. "As if I care about that. I knew what I was getting in to." The free-falling Sixers are gaining fast on Milwaukee (13-53) for the worst record in the NBA. Unlike Friday nights loss against Indiana when they never led, the Sixers held an early edge against Memphis and played a competitive first half. The Grizzlies were coming off a 99-86 loss at Toronto on Friday and needed some time to warm up in Philly. Once they got going, they became just the latest team to stomp the Sixers. "Its scary because theyre looking to get a win and theyre going to do whatever it takes to get one," Conley said. Conley did his part to avert an upset, scoring nine points during Memphis 15-6 run to open the second half that stretched the lead to 18. He kept the lead rolling with a 3-pointer and a fast-break layup off a turnover for a 67-46 lead. The Grizzlies, winners of 12 of 16, had 13 players score and their 29-point lead in the fourth was their largest of the season. Even a bit of an off night was enough for Memphis to cruise: The Grizzlies made only 4 of 15 3-pointers, were outrebounded, and had 22 turnovers. Marc Gasol scored 11 points, Ed Davis had 11 rebounds, and the Grizzlies had 27 assists on 38 baskets. "Its a good rhythm, but its not where we want to be yet," Gasol said. "Its always on the good side. Its always better than losing, thats just for sure." Just ask the Sixers. NOTES: The 76ers sent F Arnett Moultrie, the 27th overall pick in the 2012 draft, to the D-League. He played only 12 games this season. "Hes a young player, hes a first-round draft pick, he needs to play," Brown said. Custom College Jerseys . The Football Association of Ireland released a statement Monday saying Keane "decided not to pursue informal talks that took place with Celtic any further." The former Mancheester United player met with Hoops majority shareholder Dermot Desmond last week, but talks never reached the point of a formal job offer, according to the Press Association. SUNRISE, Fla. Yeezy Online . -- The Boston Bruins domination of the Florida Panthers continued. Well, the Bruins are beating just about everyone lately. Torey Krug scored the go-ahead goal in the third period and the Bruins won their season-high fifth straight with a 5-2 victory over the Panthers on Sunday. Chad Johnson made 20 saves, and Chris Kelly, Jarome Iginla, Patrice Bergeron and Andrej Meszaros also scored for Boston. Bergeron also had two assists for the Bruins, who are 7-0-3 during a 10-game stretch on the road, their longest such point streak since 2010-11. The Bruins have taken 14 of 16 from the Panthers, including eight straight by a combined 33-10 score. Boston is now in first place in the Eastern Conference. "Weve worked hard to get ourselves back at the top of the conference," Bruins coach Claude Julien said. "By the looks of it, itll probably be a battle right until the end." Jimmy Hayes scored both goals for Florida, and Roberto Luongo stopped 37 shots. The Bruins broke a 1-1 tie on Krugs goal with 12:22 left the third. Krug took a pass from Brad Marchand in the slot and backhanded it past Luongo. "It seemed like their guys were a little bit tired and I thought I could jump up and beat a couple of guys," Krug said. "March made an unbelievable play and I was lucky enough to put it in." Three goals were scored in a span of 52 seconds later in the third, two by Boston. The Bruins stretched their lead to 3-1 on Bergerons goal with 6 seconds left on a power play. His one-timer went between Luongos pads at 11:21. "It was a big game for us. I think we played a solid road game and we came out with the two points," Bergeron said. The Panthers closed to 3-2 when Hayes found a loose puck in front and jammed in between Johnsons pads for his second goal at 11:42 for his first career multigoal game. The Bruins made it 4-2 on Iginlas goal 31 seconds later when his wrist shot went over Luongos shoulder at 12:13 for his 20th of the season and 550th career goal. Iginla moved into sole possession of 26th on the NHLs career goals list. Longtime Bruins forward John Bucyk is 25th. Kelly scored an empty-netter with 1:02 left. The Bruins beat the Panthers for the second time in six days, including a 4-1 loss on Tuesday in Boston. "Theyre still a benchmark," Panthers coach Peter Horachek said. "Theyre still the team that we have to gauge ourselves by. Thats a message to our guys, thats where we need to be." The Bruins tied it at 1 on a power-play goal by Meszaros. His slap shot from above the right circle got past Luongo at 9:58. It was the first goal Luongo gave up in nearly 90 minutes since rejoining the Panthers for Fridays 2-0 win against Buffalo. Meszaros made his Bruins debut after being acquired from Philadelphia last Wednesday. "It was good to go out there and play. Overall, I felt pretty good and the two points is huge," Meszaros said. The Panthers took a 1-0 lead on Hayes first goal at the 7-minute mark of the second. Nick Bjugstad shot from the right side and Johnson made the block, but Hayes grabbed the rebound and wristed it into the open net on the stick side. The Bruins went after Luongo from the start. He faced 27 shots in the first two periods, with at least three hitting the post, including a deflection off the skate of Panthers defenceman Brian Campbell early in the second that glanced off the iron. "You have to give (the Bruins) credit," Luongo said. "They came out hard in the third and they created some scoring chances. I would have liked to have made a few more saves there at least to keep it a one-goal game, but they have some good players there who can make some plays. "Things kind of fell apart a little bit in the third." NOTES: Bruins F Daniel Paille left with an upper-body injury after being hit by Ed Jovanovski along the boards at 3:06 of the first and did not return. ... Corey Potter, claimed off waivers by Boston from Edmonton on Wednesday, was a healthy scratch. ... Bjugstad has five points the past six games for the Panthers. ... Andrew McCutchen hit his first homer of the season and drove in three runs, Pedro Alvarez had a three-run shot and pinch-hitter Josh Harrison broke a tie with a long ball in the seventh inning as the Pirates handed the Milwaukee Brewers their first road loss, 11-2 on Thursday night. The Pirates have hit 23 homers despite allowing first baseman Justin Morneau and right fielder Marlon Byrd to leave as free agents last winter. What encouraged manager Clint Hurdle the most was that three of the four homers on Thursday night were of the multi-run variety. "Its good to know you can strike quickly but we need to hit a few more with men on base like we did tonight rather than just solos," Hurdle said. Of course, the Pirates would have more multi-run homers if they could improve upon a .304 on-base percentage. "That has been priority No. 1 since the first day of spring training," Hurdle said. "We need to raise the on-base percentage." Harrisons two-run drive down the left field line off Rob Wooten (0-1) was the second of his career as a pinch hitter. It stared Pittsburghs nine-run outburst over the seventh and eighth innings that was capped by Alvarezs sixth of the year. Hurdle wanted Harrison to bunt Jordy Mercer up to second base after he led off the inning with a single. However, Harrison failed to sacrifice then made it up for it. "Thats why baseball is a crazy game," Harrison said. "One second, I didnt the job done and then the next second I put us ahead with a home run. "I dont hit a lot of home runs but I do know if you hit the ball down the left field line (at PNC Park) that you have a chance," he said. "I knew I hit it hard." McCutchen, last years NL MVP, hit a two-run homer in the first inning in his 57th at-bat. Gaby Sanchez also coonnected while Alvarez, Starling Marte, Russell Martin and Jordy Mercer each had two of the Pirates 12 hits. Discount Yeezy. Edinson Volquez (1-0) gave up two runs in seven innings for his first win with the Pirates, scattering eight hits. "Its a great feeling to get that first W for the Pittsburgh Pirates," Volquez said. "Thats why they brought me here, to win games, so I feel like I did my job this time." Jonathan Lucroy and Scooter Gennett had two hits each for Milwaukee, which had won its first six road games. The Brewers have lost three of four since a nine-game winning streak. Wooten relieved starter Yovani Gallardo to start the seventh. Harrison connected when he was pinch-hitting for Volquez, who signed a one-year, $5-milion contract with the Pirates in December as a free agent. Gallardo allowed two runs and three in six innings with four walks and six strikeouts. However, Wooten allowed three runs while getting only one out and rookie left-hander Wei-Chung Wang was hammered for six runs in 2-3 of an inning as the Brewers bullpens ERA rose from a major league-best 1.33 to 3.16. After Harrisons homer put the Pirates ahead 4-2, McCutchen made it a three-run lead with a fielders choice grounder. "Thats by far the most disappointed Ive been in myself in professional baseball at any level," Wooten said. "I dont have the words to describe it. Its embarrassing." NOTES: Brewers 1B Lyle Overbay was placed on the paternity list after his wife gave birth to a boy on Thursday morning in Milwaukee and INF-OF Elian Herrera was recalled from Triple-A Nashville. ... Pirates OF Jose Tabata, who had a pinch-hit RIB double in the eighth, passed all concussion protocols Thursday morning, a day after leaving a game in Cincinnati in the fourth inning when he ran into the scoreboard while making a catch. .. Milwaukee RHP Kyle Lohse (2-1, 3.05) is scheduled to pitch Friday night against Pittsburgh RHP Charlie Morton (0-1, 3.32). ' ' '

Arsenal made a late foray in the January transfer window to sign Sweden midfielder Kim Kallstrom on loan, the only major move by a top club on Friday on a deadline day dominated by struggling Premier League sides scrambling around to strengthen their squads. Nike Air Max Tailwind Australia . Kallstrom left Spartak Moscow to join Arsenal for the rest of the season in what was the title challengers only recruit of the January window. Chelseas only signing was 19-year-old Saint-Etienne defender Kurt Zouma, who was immediately loaned him back to the French club until this summer, while Liverpool failed in its bid to sign Ukraine winger Yevhen Konoplyanka from Dnipro. Otherwise, the late deals were exclusively being done by clubs battling to avoid relegation from the worlds richest league. Next-to-last Fulham was very active, bringing in Germany midfielder Lewis Holtby on loan from Tottenham, Netherlands defender Johnny Heitinga on a free transfer from Everton and Greece striker Kostas Mitroglou from Olympiakos on a 4 1/2-year deal. Out of Craven Cottage went Dimitar Berbatov to French team Monaco -- ending his eight-year stint in English football -- Adel Taarabt to AC Milan and Philippe Senderos to Valencia. Crystal Palace, which has just climbed out of the bottom three, was even busier, signing five players including winger Jason Puncheon on a permanent basis from Southampton and midfielder Joe Ledley from Celtic. Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer used his connections at former club Manchester United to sign winger Wilfried Zaha on loan and full back Fabio on a permanent deal, taking the number of signings by the bottom-place Welsh club this month to seven. Third-bottom West Ham turned to Serie A for the third time this window to sign Napoli left back Pablo Armero on loan until the end of the season, mirroring the deals that have already seen Italy internationals Marco Borriello and Antonio Nocerino move to Upton Park. Boosted by a huge three-year television deal taking effect at the start of the season, Premier League clubs spent more than 600 million pounds (then $932 million) in the summer transfer window. Before Friday, they had splashed out 95 million pounds ($156 million) on acquiring new players in January, according to football finance experts Deloitte. It ensures English top-flight teams set a record for transfer spending this season, breaking the 700-million pounds ($1.15 billion) mark for the first time. Having shattered Man Uniteds transfer record to sign Juan Mata for 37.1 million pounds ($61.2 million) from Chelsea, manager David Moyes spent deadline day offloading players. As well as Fabio and Zaha, Italian forward Federico Macheda was loaned out to second-tier Birmingham. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger turned to the 31-year-old Kallstrom, a veteran of 108 caps for Sweden, after seeing his teams midfield options hit by injury and suspension. Aaron Ramsey will be sidelined for up to six weeks following a setback in his recovery from a thigh problem, Jack Wilshere is also currently out injured and Mathieu Flamini is suspended for the next three matches. "Kim Kallstrom is a hugely experienced player," said Wenger, whose second-place side is a point behind Manchester City in the standings. "He is a midfielder with proven quality at both club and international level." Kallstrom, who is eligible to play in the Champions League, joined Spartak in 2012 after six years at French club Lyon. Liverpool, Tottenham and Premier League leader Manchester City all failed to add to their squads in January. Nike Air Max 360 Australia . Mission accomplished. Jermain Defoes former manager is reportedly very interested in getting his striker back. Trevor Richards Jersey . According to a report in The Guardian, Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp - who managed Defoe with both Portsmouth and Tottenham - is interested in bringing the 32-year-old back to London. Though no deal is in place between QPR and Toronto FC, Redknapp went on record to state that he would welcome Defoe back to the Premier League. “He’s a player we’d be interested in in January, but it depends on the expense of the deal,” Redknapp told The Guardian. “Nothing is anywhere near being concluded. We tried to get him before the deadline but I don’t think there’s been any movement on that one. Defoe signed a four-year deal with TFC prior to the 2014 Major League Soccer season, but was rumoured to be unhappy in Toronto mid-way through his first season. In 19 games with the club in 2014, Defoe scored 11 goals. He would help lead Toronto FC to a strong start, with a 6-1-4 (19 points) record in the clubs first 11 contests. However, injuries would keep Defoe off the pitch for much of the second half of the season, with rumours of his return to the Premier League resurfacing near the end of the Fall transfer window. He appeared in just six contests after July 16, failing to score a single goal for the remainder of the season after 11 in 13 matches. “I’m a big fan of Jermain’s – I’ve signed him enough times, Redknapp said. He’s a goalscorer and a player you’d obviously like at your club if possible, but the figures would have to be right. I haven’t spoken to the chairman about it yet. We’ll see. I know what we need.” Wade Boggs Jersey . Dont miss a single shot, live on TSN beginning at 7pm et/4pm pt. "We are all trying to figure out everything as it goes and just do our best and we hope that it is the right answer," Rivers said in a statement. "Im still going to do my best and do what I think is best for the team and for everybody in this case. It is very difficult because there are so many emotions in this. This is a very emotional subject, this is personal." The Clippers players staged a silent protest prior to tip-off Sunday by wearing their pregame shirts inside-out with the teams logo out of sight. They wore black arm or wrist bands and black socks but appeared stuck in warmup mode when the game got underway. The Warriors blew out the Clippers in Sundays Game 4, 118-97. Curry raced out with 17 points in the first 8:30, hitting all five of his 3- point attempts as the Warriors opened a 20-point lead in the first quarter. "We tried to come out with a sense of urgency. Thats been a big problem in the first three games," said Curry. "As a team we havent started games off well and theyve gotten a double-digit lead each first quarter. So we moved the ball well, guys set great screens and we executed at a higher pace. When we do that, were tough to guard." Warriors head coach Mark Jackson inserted Draymond Green into the starting lineup in place of Jermaine ONeal. Green only finished with four points, but Golden State got the victory. The Clippers pulled within nine in the fourth but did not climb out of the mammoth hole. Jamal Crawford and Blake Griffin led the club with 26 and 21 points, respectively. Chris Paul finished with 16 points, followed by 12 from J.J. Redick and 10 out of Matt Barnes. By Tuesdays tip, the Clippers should know the fate of Sterling and hopefully will get closer to closure. Formula One heads to its second race of the season this weekend in Malaysia with the reigning champion team threatening to withdraw from the sport, the result of the first race still under protest, and race promoters in revolt over the sound of the cars. Cheap Hockey Jerseys . The off-track strife has obscured the sporting promise provided by the season opener in Australia. The race in Melbourne defied those naysayers worried about the reliability of the new V6 turbo engines by having 15 finishers and a welcome shake-up to the sports pecking order; Sebastian Vettel out of the race early, Mercedes winning but with lingering engine concerns, and McLaren and even Williams back in the fight. However the sports apparent eagerness to attach a cloud to every silver lining was on show again immediately after the checkered flag fell at Albert Park. Second-place finisher Daniel Ricciardo was disqualified from his home race for exceeding the new limits on fuel flow, and his Red Bull team immediately appealed, blaming the problem on a malfunction of the FIA-approved sensor fitted to each car. The appeal will be held on April 14, after the third race in Bahrain. Red Bull team owner Dietrich Mateschitz raised the stakes further by saying such disputes will be of more importance than money when it comes to deciding whether the energy drink maker stays in the sport beyond the short term. "The question is not so much whether it makes economic sense but the reasons would be to do with sportsmanship, political influence, and so on," Mateschitz said in an interview with Austrian newspaper Kurier. "In these issues there is a clear limit to what we can accept." The other political spat emerging out of the first race was over the sound, or lack of sound, made by the new engines. Compared to the high-pitched roar of the old V8 engines, the new powertrains produced a muted purr. The outgoing chief of the Australian Grand Prix, Ron Walker, even threatened to sue for breach of contract and said the engine sound will be a major talking point at a scheduled meeting of grand prix promoters next month. Walker is a strong ally of F1s commercial chief Bernie Ecclestone, who has always opposed the cleaner, greener engines and has used the issue as a wedge in his ongoing wrestle with the FIA for control of the sport. With F1s political heavyweights preoccupied by looming fights in courtrooms and boardrooms, the sports fans will be more concerned with the on-track battle which resumes at Sepang, outside Kuala Lumpur, this weekend. Mercedes is again the favourite, with Nico Rosberg having won comfortably in Australia. His fastest lap of the race was with a relatively heavy fuel load in the early stages, indicating he had plenty of speed in reserve had he needed it. Fellow Mercedes-powered team Williams looks the major threat on the race pace it showed in Melbourne, which was obscured by Felipe Massa being taken out at the first corner and Valtteri Bottas losing a wheel when he clipped a wall, costing him the likely podium finish. McLaren, which had its worst season in decades in 2013, is the surprise constructors championship leader after rookie Kevin Magnussen and Jenson Button were promoted to second and third respectively by Ricciardos disqualification. But the teams trackside chief Eric Boullier acknowledged that was flattering. "Its true that Mercedes and Williams have some pace, maybe between half and three quarters of a second quicker than the rest of the field," Boullier said. Ferrari had a mediocre performance in Melbourne and technical director James Allison agreed that "we have our work cut out to improve our car in order to compete on equal terms with the Mercedes team." Mercedes technical principal Paddy Lowe hinted that the teams advantage could be even more pronounced in Malaysia. "Sepang is a permanent race track which is generally a lot more differentiating of the cars; particularly with regard to aerodynamics," Lowe said. "As always, reliability and endurance will be crucial, but we believe this venue will provide a more accurate representation of the relative pace between teams." There will be a sombre note to the race in Sepang, as it is a short distance from Kuala Lumpurs airport, from where the ill-fated Malaysian Airlines plane this month took off on a flight which authorities now say resulted in it crashing into the ocean, killing all on board Cyber Monday Hockey Jerseys . -- Ryan Millers debut for the St. Authentic Hockey Jerseys .75 million contract for the 2014 season and avoided arbitration. The team announced the agreement on Tuesday. https://www.fakehockeyjerseys.com/ . Pominville scored in all three of Minnesotas games last week to help the Wild (8-4-3, 19 points) earn four out of a possible six points. His best performance was in a 4-3 win over Montreal on Friday, where he posted a season-high three points (two goals, one assist), including the game-winning goal.LONDON -- Matt Cassel will get a chance to steer the Minnesota Vikings to their first win of the season -- and maybe put himself in position for a more regular role. Cassel will replace injured starter Christian Ponder at quarterback against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at Wembley Stadium. The Vikings (0-3) ruled out Ponder on Friday with a fractured rib sustained in last weekends 31-27 loss to the Cleveland Browns. "We worked with Matt in the mindset that this was a possibility, so I think were prepared in that way," coach Leslie Frazier said. "Hes been in this role before. His veteran presence -- you can feel it. So there was no shock this week as he got more and more reps. I think (the team) will handle it the right way." Cassel hasnt played a down this season since signing a two-year deal with the Vikings in the off-season. The former New England Patriot threw six touchdowns and 12 interceptions in nine games for the 2-14 Chiefs last season. "Ive been preparing for this and I feel like Im ready to go," Cassel said. "I feel comfortable with this offence. Im excited about it. Thats what you prepare for as a backup." Frazier is hoping Cassel will go out at Wembley and make a statement. "Im hoping that he shines, but I dont foresee a quarterback controversy," Frazier said. "We want him to play lights out and have the best game of his NFL career on Sunday." If Cassel does shine, it could leave Frazier with a decision on who to start against the Carolina Panthers on Oct. Hockey Jerseys Black Friday. 13 after the bye week. Ponder, a third-year pro, has struggled this season, throwing two touchdowns and five interceptions for a 65.9 passer rating. He also has lost two fumbles. Ponder had taken the majority of snaps in practice Thursday and looked determined to play Sunday. "We just felt like it was, from a medical standpoint, too risky to put him out there to take a hit," Frazier said. "Hes a tough guy but it probably wouldnt be wise to put him out in that situation." "Hes a competitive guy and hes played through some tough injuries here. He wanted to play," Frazier said. "This is something you dont know how many times youll get a chance to play in a game like this, but its probably wise since we have a bye coming up, so he understands." Also ruled out for the Vikings are cornerback Chris Cook (groin), safety Jamarca Sanford (hamstring), and tight end Rhett Ellison (knee). The rest of the players on the Vikings injury report all practiced in full Friday and are probable for Sundays game. They are running back Matt Asiata (hamstring), cornerback A.J. Jefferson (ankle), defensive tackle Kevin Williams (knee), linebacker Erin Henderson (heel), and long snapper Cullen Loeffler (neck). The Vikings and Steelers are both 0-3 heading into the NFL International Series match at Wembley Stadium. ' ' '

We challenge Matt Le Tissier to pick his best XI from Tottenham and Manchester United ahead of their crucial Super Sunday clash. Custom Seattle Mariners Jerseys . Spurs will be desperate to maintain the pressure on leaders Leicester and put a dent in Uniteds top-four hopes in the process when the two sides meet at White Hart Lane, live on Sky Sports 1 HD at 4pm.With Mauricio Pochettinos second-placed side heading into the clash nine points clear of their visitors, albeit having played a game more than United, Le Tiss has unsurprisingly gone with a Spurs majority. Le Tiss predicts... Find out what Le Tiss is tipping up at 20/1 for Tottenham v Man Utd here. Heres a look at his XI... GOALKEEPER: David de Gea - Both sides have top-quality goalkeepers but for me De Gea is the best in the league. Theyd be nowhere near the top four if hed joined Real Madrid in the summer.RIGHT-BACK: Kyle Walker - Spurs full-backs could well both be playing for England this summer and Walkers pace will be important against Anthony Martial.CENTRE-BACK: Chris Smalling - Im going with him ahead of Jan Vertonghen. I must admit I wasnt sure he had it in him but hes one of the most improved players in the Premier League this season.CENTRE-BACK: Toby Alderweireld - Hes quite possibly been the best defender in the Premier League this season and I was very disappointed when Southampton failed to sign him permanently. Toby Alderweireld: Among the Premier Leagues best defenders? LEFT-BACK: Danny Rose - Hes probably edged ahead of Ryan Bertrand in the England pecking order now and he goes into my team, as much because of the threat he offers going forward as his defensive work.CENTRAL-MIDFIELD: Eric Dier - The lad has made this position his own for club and country and youve got to hand it to Pochettino for spotting he had the right attributes for the role.CENTRAL-MIDFIELD: Mousa Dembele - Hes a very underrated player and tends to go under the radar but he controls games with his power and quality on the ball. Anthony Martial is Man Utds top scorer with eight goals ATTACKING-MIDFIELD: Anthony Martial - It has been difficult for him starting in a central role and scoring goals then being moved out of position. Its taken him a while to adapt to that position but hes clearly an exciting player.ATTACKING-MIDFIELD: Dele Alli - Hes one of the most exciting young players in the world right now and looks an absolute banker to be starting for England at the Euros.ATTACKING-MIDFIELD: Christian Eriksen - It was Eriksen and Harry Kane carrying Spurs last season and his contributions have perhaps been overlooked a bit because of the emergence of others, but hes still a very important player, with 11 assists and six goals this season. Harry Kane can develop into a world-class striker, says Le Tiss STRIKER: Harry Kane - Hes another one that has cemented his starting berth for England and its now up for him to prove on a European stage, both for club and country, that he is a world class striker. For me theres no reason why he cant do that. Sky Sports Fantasy Six-a-Side Find out who Le Tiss and Charlie are picking in their Fantasy Six-a-Side teams here. The grandson of South Africas first black president, Zondwa Mandela, and Robinsons widow, Rachel, helped unveil a plaque commemorating Mandelas 1990 speech at the old Yankee Stadium. It hangs next to the tribute to Jackie Robinson in Monument Park beyond centre field at the current ballpark. Robinson broke the colour barrier in the major leagues in 1947 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. The ceremony was pushed back a day to Wednesday because the game between New York and the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday -- Jackie Robinson Day around baseball -- was postponed by rain. The plaque features a portrait of Mandela and a dedication. "Able to fill the shoes of our grandfather. That is not why we are here. Its simply symbolic to the fact that we all make up a piece of his magnificent work. I and family, just like all of you who are here, are just a custodian of his legacy," Zondwa Mandela said before the ceremony. "The efforts of the Robinson family, the efforts of our grandfather, should continue to give us a sense that the efforts of today are not supposed to reflect on our experience today," he continued, "but rather that they are for the lives to follow, the generations to come." Yankee captain Derek Jeter presented the Mandela family and Rachel Robinson with a replica of the plaque at home plate prior to the game. It reads: "Nelson Mandela 1918-2013. Noobel Peace Prize winner and global leader whose timeless efforts dismantled apartheid in South Africa. Mariners Jerseys 2019. As President of his country, he would use South Africas enthusiasm for sports as a unifying force for reconciliation. On June 21, 1990, he made a memorable visit to the original Yankee Stadium and proclaimed, "You know who I am. I am a Yankee." "In words and deeds, he became an inspirational leader to the world. Dedicated by New York Yankees, April 15, 2014. Presented to Mandela family from New York Yankees." More than a dozen notable figures, including members of the Mandela and Robinson family, South African government representatives, past and present politicians and labour leaders, Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner, and singer and activist Harry Belafonte attended a pregame news conference. Several of those attending were present at the Mandela speech nearly 24 years ago and recalled Mandelas charisma that day. "I knew that he had something in mind when he walked on the stage and was going to be presented to America and all the cameras and the world focused on him," Belafonte said. "And he walked out in a Yankee jacket and a Yankee cap, and his first words were: You all know who I am. I am a Yankee. All of America went crazy." "The other hero, the other great hero, Jackie Robinson, (is) being celebrated at the same time," Belafonte added. "So were getting a double whammy. Jackie Robinson and Nelson Mandela being celebrated on the same day is to me a great moment." ' ' '
