CALGARY - Jordan Sigalet is the new goaltending coach for the Calgary Flames. The 33-year-old from New Westminster, B.C., spent the last two seasons coaching Calgarys goaltending prospects with the Abbotsford Heat. Sigalet replaces Clint Malarchuk, who parted ways with the Flames in March after three seasons. Sigalet was the goaltending coach for the Western Hockey Leagues Everett Silvertips prior to joining the Flames organization. He was a seventh-round draft pick of the Boston Bruins in 2001. He was a conference all-star twice during his three seasons at Bowling Green University. Sigalet played three seasons in the AHL with the Providence Bruins and retired in 2009 after one season in Vienna, Austria.
