Puma Signs Rapper Meek Mill Aug 23, 2012 We ve seen sneaker companies sign music entertainers for years, but for a while, the trend seemed to die down.It was recently resurrected when Swizz Beatz came together with Reebok, and since then we ve seen rappers including Rick Ross rock kicks from Reebok Classics.Puma is making its way into the mix, as it has just signed rapper Meek Mill. The new deal will coincide with the launching of the Be the Next Dream Chaser contest that will allow an aspiring artist the opportunity to hit the stage with Meek Mill.

A few new sneakers from the PUMA x MIHARAYASUHIRO collaborative collection have puma creepers just been released, seen above with the MY-61 Snake Pack. Available in both a high and low version, the sneakers are both covered in Grey snakeskin, sitting atop a traditional rubber sole. One of the most exciting attributes of the sneaker is it s midsole, which turns upwards on the side panel. The Puma Suede has gone green with its latest release that involves recycled polyester fibers. The Puma Re-Suede Color Pack is available in four colorways that all feature recycled materials and a two toned upper with a golden flecked outsole that also is made from recycled rubber. For those of you who are environmentally minded the sneaker comes packaged in Puma s Clever Little Bag as the icing on the cake making this one of the greener products that they have released in a while. Look for them to hit shelves later this month.

Back in 2009, Los Angeles-based UNDFTD teamed up with Puma to craft a glossy gold look in the Puma Mid. Now the two have come together again, this time using the Puma Clyde as the shoe of choice. Smoot and perforated leather work the upper, with gold covering the entire look. The shoe s upper rests atop a classic white sole. The shoe pays fenty puma tribute to the upcoming Olympic games with the USA colors on the tongue and heel. No word as to the shoe s availability, but stay tuned in for more information.The Puma Dallas has been back on the shelves since 2010, one of the more popular sneakers amongst their vintage releases. Previously seen in Black/Gum as a collaboration with Sneaker Freaker, this new version reminds me of Fall leaves falling.
