Puma Signs Rapper Meek Mill Aug 23, 2012 We ve seen sneaker companies sign music entertainers for years, but for a while, the trend seemed to die down.It was recently resurrected when Swizz Beatz came together with Reebok, and since then we ve seen rappers including Rick Ross rock kicks from Reebok Classics.Puma is making its way into the mix, as it has just signed rapper Meek Mill. The new deal will coincide with the launching of the Be the Next Dream Chaser contest that will allow an aspiring artist the opportunity to hit the stage with Meek Mill.
A few new sneakers from the PUMA x MIHARAYASUHIRO collaborative collection have puma creepers just been released, seen above with the MY-61 Snake Pack. Available in both a high and low version, the sneakers are both covered in Grey snakeskin, sitting atop a traditional rubber sole. One of the most exciting attributes of the sneaker is it s midsole, which turns upwards on the side panel. The Puma Suede has gone green with its latest release that involves recycled polyester fibers. The Puma Re-Suede Color Pack is available in four colorways that all feature recycled materials and a two toned upper with a golden flecked outsole that also is made from recycled rubber. For those of you who are environmentally minded the sneaker comes packaged in Puma s Clever Little Bag as the icing on the cake making this one of the greener products that they have released in a while. Look for them to hit shelves later this month.
Back in 2009, Los Angeles-based UNDFTD teamed up with Puma to craft a glossy gold look in the Puma Mid. Now the two have come together again, this time using the Puma Clyde as the shoe of choice. Smoot and perforated leather work the upper, with gold covering the entire look. The shoe s upper rests atop a classic white sole. The shoe pays fenty puma tribute to the upcoming Olympic games with the USA colors on the tongue and heel. No word as to the shoe s availability, but stay tuned in for more information.The Puma Dallas has been back on the shelves since 2010, one of the more popular sneakers amongst their vintage releases. Previously seen in Black/Gum as a collaboration with Sneaker Freaker, this new version reminds me of Fall leaves falling. Covered in Brown suede, the kicks are laced with minimal Orange detailing throughout. With a White leather inner lining and Gumsole, you can find these now at Puma online and in-store.
ÿþBurn Rubber looks new balance 1500V1 to release their latest collaboration with New Balance some time soon and we finally got a date pinned down for it. The Blue Collar colorway of the MT580 Workforce Pack is a suede and mesh runner that has been fully customized to represent the working class citizen. With white leather highlights and a gum outsole however it is safe to say that no one in their right mind will want to work to hard in these at all. While we don t have a price check on them yet we are sure the selected retailers who carry them won t try and take your whole paycheck but we d suggest securing a pair before the resellers get to them. Look for them in stores on February 1st.

Nadat president Obama een speciaal paar Spizike van Spike Lee had ontvangen, was het voor ons nieuw dat het slechts een kwestie van tijd was voordat enkele andere verse schoppen op hem afkwamen. Deze keer komt het paar met dank aan New Balance en de Amerikaanse vertegenwoordiger Michael Michaud. De US New Balance 990 ²s hebben een overwegend grijs bovenwerk met president Obama gestikt in marineblauw op de zijhak. De schoenen zijn een geschenk om Obama te helpen overwegen om militaire contracten over te schakelen naar de VS. Is dit paar de president van de VS waardig?
New Balance is er nooit iemand geweest om ons te houden op zoek naar een frisse New Balance 574 en met dat wat hier het geval is, is er weer een overweging. Dit op leer gestructureerde leren paar van de hardloopschoen heeft blauwe, rode en grijze betimmeringen met gouden accenten rond de new balance 574 heren rand van het logo en het oogje. Deze zijn nu verkrijgbaar bij de meeste New Balance-winkels, ook in het buitenland, bij Solebox. De New Balance H710 was misschien wat stil, maar hij komt luid en trots terug met deze nieuwste colorway. Hier is een blik op de nieuw geslagen Rasta-colorway met een gewaagde tri-gekleurde bovenkant die op een zeer niet-traditionele manier is geblokkeerd met een rode teen, een geel middenpaneel en een groene hiel. De suède en mesh-wandelaar is afgezet met leer en heeft een zwarte buitenzool voor wat misschien wel een van de wildste silhouetten van New Balance is!
