Hes doing OK, Prados agent Bob Klesaris said. There was nothing career- ending or life-threatening. He had a pretty good laceration above his eye and on the corner of his eye, and he had a little bit of plastic surgery. He just looked like he came out of a prize fight. I guess, in reality, hes going to miss three or four days. Hes already missed two, and hes off his mounts today, so Id say hes day to day. Prado, inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008, was dumped from his mount in Tuesdays seventh race. For the year, Prado has 97 wins from 552 mounts and $3,894,387.
